10. PROJECT INFLUENCES
Assumptions
· The resources and necessary data will be provided by the client to the Development team.
· The client does not have any current Mobile Application for this service.
· The application will use compatible technologies with the current client’s infrastructure.
· The client will provide their station and bicycle data/layout to build the Application Inventory.
· During the testing phase, beta testers will accept the Privacy Agreement and the trial specifications.
· All the equipment will be in good condition during the project.
Constraints
· The scope will be defined at the contract phase by the Scope Agreement Clause. If the client needs to go beyond the scope, the contract clauses need to be reviewed.
· The cost of the project will be calculated based on the scope in the Scope Agreement Clause. If the scope changes, the cost/budget will be affected and both parties must commonly agree.
· If the timetable is not adjusted with the customer’s expectation, a contract extension must be negotiated and agreed upon by both parties.
Risks
· The scope is not clearly defined.
· Customer’s requirements are misunderstood.
· The deliverables do not comply with the customer’s expectations and therefore are not approved.
· Inconsistent data provided for testing.
· Unexpected delays in the timetable could affect the milestone deadlines.
Issues
· Shaw Mobi has not yet completed the site plans and architectural plans for all the new routes to be built, therefore the digital map may be delayed.
· Scalability is not yet fully defined; the business analytics department is working on the scalability
statistics. The maximum scale of users will have to be known in order to have the proper operation of the system.
External Dependencies
· Infrastructure Report about the map bike stations.
· Analytics Report about the scaling of the app.
· Initial found for app development minimum $30,000.
